Welcome to apple star farm! We have a small operation of registered mini nubian goats for our local milk production. Occasionally we have babies available, so if you are interested in mini nubians, get in touch. Our mini nubians are registered, come from excellent lines, make the best milk you have ever had, and are currently F2. We are located in northwest arkansas, near Fayetteville.
what is a mini nubian?
The Mini Nubian is a mid-sized dairy breed that is a cross between a standard Nubian and a Nigerian Dwarf. With the sweet, creamy, high butterfat milk of a Nigerian Dwarf but more of it, they offer the best of both worlds. They are smaller and easier to handle and transport than full sized goats, weighing on average 100 lbs. Being a bit taller than a Nigerian, with larger teats, they are generally easier to milk than most Nigerians. Many of them produce as much milk as standard sized Nubians but on half the feed. They are truly the fuel efficient dairy goats!
